Celebrity of "The Big Bang Theory," Jim Parsons, gets his first movie biopic treatment.

The first trailer for Jim Parsons's upcoming film Spoiler Alert: The Hero Dies has been unveiled.

A still from the film, featuring Ben Aldridge as Kit Cowan and Jim Parsons as Michael Ausiello, was posted to Entertainment Weekly's official Twitter account.

Besides Parsons and Aldridge, there are also actors like Nikki M. James (The Book of Mormon), Jeffery Self (30 Rock), Antoni Porowski (Queer Eye), Bill Irwin (Just Getting Married), and Sally Field (The Amazing Spider-Man).

The film was produced by Michael Showalter, who is recognised for such works as Hello, My Name Is Doris and The Eyes of Tammy Faye.

The premiere is scheduled for December 2, followed by a wide release the following week, on December 16.

Warning: Michael Ausiello's memoir serves as the inspiration for The Hero Dies. The relationship between Michael and Kit and how it evolves after Kit learns that Michael has terminal illness is the subject of the memoir The Hero Dies: A Memoir of Love, Loss, and Other Four-Letter Words.

Throughout the book are flashbacks to the couple's 14-year relationship as well as the 11 months between Ausiello's partner Kit finding out he has terminal cancer and his death.

Parsons almost became a Justice League of America member as the superhero Plastic Man. It was recently revealed.

The Big Bang Theory star was reportedly set to voice the character in an animated film directed by Kevin Smith a few years ago.

While searching through an old laptop for an old photo, he stumbled upon the script he had written for a Plastic Man cartoon two years prior.

It was with, uh, what's his name from The Big Bang Theory, and they earned us to compose it and then didn't do it.
