It's official: Maya Hawke agrees with Millie Bobby Brown: There Are Way Too Many People in 'Stranger Things.'

Like her co-star Millie Bobby Brown, Maya Hawke thinks "Stranger Things" has too many characters. While taking a lie detector test for Vanity Fair, Hawke, who joined the cast of the Netflix hit series in Season 3 as Robin, was asked if she thought fan favourite Eddie Munson (Joseph Quinn) deserved to die at the end of "Stranger Things 4."

I don't think he should have died, but Hawke said there are too many characters in the show.

After telling the press that there were so many actors on the show that they could hardly take a photo together on the red carpet at the season's Hollywood premiere, Brown made headlines in advance of "Stranger Things 4" streaming on Netflix.

According to Brown, "there were like 50 of us," and he advised, "You need to start killing people off." Two sensitive Sallies, the Duffer brothers, have no desire to kill anyone. A 'Game of Thrones mentality is what we need.

Matt and Ross Duffer, who made "Stranger Things," later explained their decision not to kill off any major characters by saying, "We've explored all options in the writing room." In a hypothetical scenario, if you were to kill Mike, it would be like... How disheartening... None of us is from "Game of Thrones." You're in Hawkins, but this isn't the Seven Kingdoms.

Earlier this month, Hawke expressed her desire for Robin's death to occur during the show's fifth and final season.

Well, it's the final season, so people are probably going to die," Hawke said to Rolling Stone. I'd give anything to die a heroic death. Of course, like any actor, I hope to go out as a hero. The Duffer Brothers are great, but what gets me is how much they adore their cast members. They are fall in love with their actors and characters and don't want to kill them, which is why they write so beautifully for me and everyone else. That's a beautiful trait they possess, and I wouldn't change it for the world.
