To which I respond, "Who the f*** cares?! They'll pull through just fine! what she said

The actress from Flight Attendant recently told Vanity Fair, "in hindsight, I kind of understood."

Kaley revealed that Leonard was "very protective" of the fans' opinions, explaining, "We wanted them to want Leonard and Penny so badly that if they saw us together in real life, it could ruin the fantasy."

When asked how a breakup would affect the audience's opinion of the characters, Johnny added, "And if we broke up, how would that affect it?"

It was difficult for me at the time, so we didn't discuss it,' he continued. And Kaley Cuoco was extremely accommodating to the constraints I imposed on the situation.

The Roseanne star discussed some of the challenges in his life. "We went to award shows and functions acting like we weren't a couple, when in fact we were a very loving couple," she says. "At a certain point it felt like we were living this lie."

Kaley and Johnny broke up after dating for two years.

The actor told Vanity Fair what he thought had caused their 2009 breakup. While "we're from very different worlds," there are also ways in which "we seem to melt into each other's worlds."

It was great fun to teach each other new things, he said, but "things got complicated when I started wanting different things."

The two celebrities are no longer romantically involved, but they are still very close and on good terms with one another.

We share a special connection that means a lot to me. And I believe that is an integral part of our wonderful friendship, Johnny said.
